After more than 35 years in the field, I noticed families were still struggling to find childcare that worked for both their professional and personal lives. All in one place.
The idea of offering flexible, on-demand child care outside of the regular work schedule has been a passion of mine for over twenty years. Families should always have a safe, nurturing, and reliable place to turn when they need to be away from their children. Whether that's for work, a date night, an appointment, or simply a moment to themselves.
So in 2025, I took the bold step to restart Give Me A Break Childcare. This time, built around the way modern families really live.
I've raised three children of my own, and now enjoying my six grandchildren. Every family I serve is approached with the same care I'd want for my own. That's the promise.

Years spent with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB), working alongside families across the city.
Founder of a previous childcare business
Built and ran her own childcare program for a decade, learning what families really need and how to deliver it consistently.
