How to enroll at GMAB
From joining the waitlist to your child's first day, here is how enrollment works and what to expect along the way.
Four steps to a spot
Join the waitlist
Add your child to our waitlist on the General Care or On-Demand Care page. You can join at any time.
We offer you a space
When a space that fits your child opens, we reach out with an offer.
Return your package within seven days
You have a seven-day window to complete the registration package and pay the registration fee and enrollment deposit. If we do not receive them in time, the space is offered to the next family on the waitlist.
Enrollment confirmed
Once your package, fee, and deposit are in, your child's place is secured and we begin planning their start.
How the waitlist works
Families can join at any time. While the date you join matters, spaces are not always offered strictly first come, first served. When a space opens, we consider a few things to make sure it is the right fit:
- The child's age and the space available
- Program capacity and licensing requirements
- Group balance and composition
- Siblings of children already enrolled
- Your requested start date and schedule
- Our ability to meet your child's needs
Our goal is to offer spaces fairly while keeping a high-quality environment for every child.
Documents to have ready
To complete enrollment, we may ask for:
- An immunization record, or exemption documentation if applicable
- A birth certificate or proof of age
- Health card information
- Government-issued photo ID for the parent or guardian
- Emergency contact information
- Custody or court documents, if applicable
- Any relevant medical, allergy, or medication information
- A completed enrollment and consent form
We may request additional documentation depending on your family's circumstances, and our team will guide you through every step.
Fees and deposit
To secure a space, families pay a registration fee and an enrollment deposit.
Registration fee
The registration fee covers administrative and enrollment costs and is non-refundable.
Enrollment deposit
The enrollment deposit secures your child's space and is applied to your final weeks of care, provided the required notice of withdrawal is given.
Prepaid billing
All care is prepaid. Full-time and part-time care is billed monthly, and on-demand bookings are prepaid at the time of booking.
Please contact us for current fees.
Transition visits
Starting childcare is a big step for children and families. Once a space is accepted and enrollment is confirmed, we may offer transition visits to help your child get familiar with the space, build relationships with educators, and settle in at their own pace.
Some children need only one visit, others benefit from a few. Up to three transition visits are included with enrollment, and additional visits can be arranged at our current on-demand rate.
Your welcome package
Once enrollment is confirmed, you receive a welcome package to help your family prepare. It may include:
- A welcome letter and program information
- The Parent Handbook
- Enrollment and emergency contact forms
- Medical, allergy, and medication forms, if applicable
- Authorized pickup information
- Fee and payment details
- The daily routine and program expectations
- A what-to-bring checklist
- Transition visit information, if applicable
- Our key policies and contact information
